Mary — MacDonald, 7th year Gryffindor
Lils needs a best friend, and I think Mary fits the bill. They would have bonded as first years for both being Muggleborns sorted into Gryffindor. Both kind of going, “wtf??!” at all the strange differences between wizarding and muggle life. I think Lily will be close with all the 7th year Gryffindor girls, but I think the shared childhood experiences thing would make her and Mary BFFs.
Plus they both have to deal with being called Mudblood, so.. more bonding experiences. Personality is totally up to you.
Playby is again, up to you. I’ve seen people use Emily Browning in the past, so she kind of just looks like a Mary MacDonald to me, but I don’t really care who you use!

So I have this plot idea that maybe Lily was very much hoping this one particular Prefect in her year would be named Head Boy, because she’s thought he’s cute for a while but never had much chance to talk to him since they were in different houses. But if they were both Head students.. that’d be lots of reasons to spend time with him, ya know?
I picked Carmichael at random, because he’s a 7th year male Ravenclaw on the canon list, but the name doesn’t matter to me a bit. Personality-wise, I envision him as the kind of guy Lily thinks she wants. Maybe the type she has always tended to date: smart, respectable, gentlemanly, charming. Someone who doesn’t always rile her up and get under her skin (like the Head Boy). I’m imagining the relationship will be fairly short lived. How it plays out we can decide later: maybe they get bored with each other, maybe it turns out he’s a total skeeze and she dumps him. I just think it would be fun to start the school year off with a good old fashioned love triangle - cause you know James won’t be happy about it.
As far as playbys go, it’s really up to you. I was envisioning him being blond, and Bradley James was the first attractive blond guy that popped into my head. You can make him anyone else. Heck, he doesn’t even have to be blond.

Severus Tobias Snape, 7th year Slytherin
Last but not least! I personally find Lily and Severus’ relationship fascinating, so I’d like to play it out with someone. Lily, being Lily, is still trying to be friendly to him. In the back of her head, she is kind of hoping he will see the light someday and y’know.. stop being a Death Eater in training. Lily is basically unable to completely give up on people. Heck, she’s still trying to repair her relationship with Petunia. I just think this would be super fun to play out.
In my head, they’re back to being friendly to each other, at least in class. But that’s about it. So that’s the starting point. Also, I know Boots has Severus requested for subplot #1, so you might want to go check that one out too.
As with all three of my requests, I don’t actually care about the playby. Louis Garrel came to mind first, but feel free to change that.
